INSIDER HEADLINE: CVC-owned Matahari launches Indonesia share offer, up to $1.36 bln -Report

March 11 (Insider Stories)-Looking to benefit from growing investor appetite for Indonesian consumer stocks, CVC Capital Partners and PT Multipolar Tbk Monday launched an offering worth up to $1.36 billion of shares in PT Matahari Department Store, Reuters News reported, citing terms seen by the news agency.

Multipolar and a CVC subsidiary are offering 1.167 billion shares in Indonesia’s biggest department store operator in a range of IDR10,000-IDR11,250, it said.

The offering has secured about $435 million in cornerstone pledges from investors like BlackRock, hedge fund Azentus, Goldman Sachs’s GS Investment Strategies and Government of Singapore Investment Corp., it said.
